Selling GLENBROOK MAXIMUS COASTAL for $3700 [ 5th high price ] to GOLDSTREAM stud at Jersey pride sale.
Several visitors from overseas including a 2 day visit from Charles Wallace [ Medicine Bow Jerseys - USA ]. Also enjoyed our many kiwi visitors.
Purchased the awesome ASHDOWN JUDDS ELM EX*, the first cow added to the GLENBROOK stud for several years.
Glenbrook Commando Cool gaining 2nd in mature class the at the Hawera Jersey Club show. Her incalf heifer GLENBROOK SAMS COOLEST also got 2nd.
Classification included GLENBROOK COMMANDO CORK EX6, 4th generation EX and GLENBROOK COMMANDO CANI EX5.
Congratulations to the GRANTHAM stud on their top record for last season. It's good to know that GLENBROOK genetics helped your average out with GLENBROOK BYG CARMINE producing 705 kgs ms among other great records. Nice also to see daughters of GLENBROOK bulls like GRANTHAM CHALLENGE CELICA producing 750 kgs ms at 7yrs.
First visit to Northland ( we won't mention first plane flight ) which was a great trip. Thanks for all the Northland hospitality. Really enjoyed meeting Ned Stirling and also seeing, what must be one of the greatest herds ever assembled in NZ Jersey history, the BOULVARD stud.
The entire herd ( except Elm ) now consists of animals descending from BIG HOLLOW CHOICE BLONDIE, the "C" family.
Semen is available from GLENBROOK CONDUCTOR and GLENBROOK YOUNG CZAR for this seasons matings.
